IMCA Modified Action Always Fast And Furious

Rod Frietas #25 and Joe "Bear" Chapman #69 and Jimmy Reeves #45 were locked in
a fierce points battle this year. Reeves came out on top on the last night.

IMCA Modifieds are a nationally sanctioned group that features open wheel front and
closed wheel rear. The IMCA Modifieds have been a mainstay at Kings Speedway for over
14 years. The competition is always fast and furious with any number of cars capable of
taking home the win. In 2001, Joe "Bear" Chapman, Rod Frietas and Jimmy Reeves chased
each other for the Championship after a tight points chase all year long. 2002 will be no
different as the IMCA Modifieds deep tones take to the Speedway at Kings.
